Panic attack is usually a sudden onset of intense fear leading the individual in a ‘crazy’ situation. In this the person may feel as if he is suffering from a heart attack. But this is not so. It may last form few minutes to few hours depending upon the situation. Most of the panic attacks subside on their own over a period of couple of hours. An individual may feel an intermediate state of anxiety in between two major panic attacks.
It is obvious that a person may think that he is about to die in the attack because of the intense fear and the symptoms he is experiencing in the attack. Majority of individuals complain of the following symptoms:

- Flashing visions
